Quality Local Stone
The Best Materials. We have our own Stoneyard and stock large quantities of unique stone and granite.
As stone suppliers to many stone yards in CT and New England, we have access to high-quality & unique materials at good prices.
We also stock our own brand of CT fieldstone & rounds, flat ledge, boulders, custom-cut stone veneers, and unique and historic granite.
Granite, Bluestone, Fieldstone
As staples of traditional Connecticut Stone Masonry, we often build with granite slabs, curbing, and decking. Often we use granite in stairs or hand-cut as focal points in fireplaces and walls.
And Bluestone patios, walkways and wall caps are a specialty of Basch Masonry. And we do a lot of solid granite stairs, some as wide as 12 feet for a dramatic entrance.
New England Field Stone, Brick, Pavers & Walls.
Everyone loves a classic dry fieldstone wall, and we do a lot of them for customers. And often these are complemented with Flagstone, Brick, or Unilock Pavers for a finished patio or seating area.
And of course, dry stone retaining walls and custom boulder walls for large spaces.
Self-Performing Team.
Our team has been with us for years. Our passion for creating amazing stonework is shared among all. Its a talented team and it shows in every project we do.
So we do not subcontract work to other stone masons- we do it all ourselves. However, we often coordinate and work closely with General Contractors, Architects, Landscape Designers and Project Managers.
Quality Prep Work
The foundation for our high-quality starts with the base preparations. In New England, it is critical to address the underlying conditions before the stonework starts.
This includes: water and drainage; preparing a strong, level, and compacted core work area, and of course, preserving existing landscaping and home access. It does not end there.
We spend much time with proper material selection, site planning, layout & design. And no job is done before all is cleaned and ready for use.
Pricing & Warranty
We offer fair and clear pricing. We quote and build jobs with full disclosure of pricing for labor and materials. Since we have been licensed & insured masonry contractors for years we do things right.
And we include a 3-year warranty on all work. This includes settling, water & drainage, and breakage.
